Firewalls
"Firewalls" refers to a kind of cybersecurity system, which is used to monitor and filter the data traffic entering and leaving the network, and decides whether to allow or block based on preset rules.
How does the firewalls work?
It relies on a preset rule table to check the source IP, destination IP, port, protocol and other information of the data packet by packet. It either allows the packet to pass or discards it based on the rules. Any packet that does not match the rules is automatically prohibited. It only recognizes rules and does not recognize viruses. It is not a virus-killing software and does not scan or remove malware.
